The Open Secure Access Coalition (OSA) is non-profit industry education organization, committed to promoting open, secure access to dealership data.
We believe that dealer-authorized, dealer-controlled data movement is critical to the creation and ongoing development of innovative solutions that drive higher revenue and lower costs throughout automotive retailing. We support these key principles.
Dealers, OEMs and third parties all are deeply invested in this topic, as the discussion impacts almost every activity.
Our objectives are to raise awareness of issues impacting the availability and security of data access, and to educate industry participants on best practices and approaches in managing those topics. We also developed and offer a Certification Program for third parties and dealerships interested in assessing and improving their data security programs. The program and its associated tools are based on input from many interested organizations and utilize best practices from other industries.
