Open Secure Access is a member-focused organization, whose activities are set by the members at large. Our objective is to be responsive to our members’ needs and requests. Our programs include:
  • Market activity research and communication. OSA’s primary communication and education tools are frequent, regular update conversations with members. Updates are also available by email and other conduits, as requested by our members.
  • Dealership outreach programs. OSA interacts with dealers at industry events, and supports our dealer members via direct communication.
  • Networking and solution development. OSA connects our members with other members and supporting industry participants, via introductions, referrals, coordinated conversations and meetings.
  • Industry awareness building. Via OSA’s direct communication and other approaches, OSA seeks to educate dealers, DMS companies and third party software and service providers about our principles and the benefits of an open data environment. In the past, OSA has coordinated broader public awareness activities, and OSA remains prepared to restart its active awareness programs as requested by its broader membership.
  • Certification programs. OSA developed a set of data security standards and guidelines, and established a Certification Program to support ongoing assessments and audits. Members receive significant discounts on Certification Program fees. Please see additional information here.
